Merry Christmas!!! Anyone celebrate Christmas?? I do!! If you do, you know its really fun, minus the church part. Personally i like the presents. So what did people get?? I got a LOT of clothes, jewelry, and girt cards!! Lots of fun and later my family is coming over for dinner! So what are you doing today?

So one of my favorite bands, after Cobra Starship and next to 30h!3, is The Killers. Most people know them by their song Mr.Brightside, or Somebody told me. I also heard their song human and when you were young along with a bunch of others, and i think they are really good. If you haven't heard them before, their two most popular songs Mr.Brightside and Somebody told me are belong along with a few pictures. :)
I know i have already talked about Cobra Starship, but i was very bored so i took screen shots of their music video hot mess, so i thought i would post them. If you have never seen the video ill post it below.
Who has heard of Sam Adams? No, not the historical figure, the rapper. Has anyone heard of him? Well if you haven't, you should. He is AMAZING and not nearly as popular as he should be. His songs are really catchy, and he is really funny. I have seen him in concert, and he sounds EXACTLY the same. So I'm going to put some of his songs below. Please listen to them and tell me what you think!
A lot of people think hockey has no point. They think its all about hitting into people, and chasing each other, but i think its about more than that. I have been watching hockey my whole life, and i have been able to followteams specifically, and learn that its not a bunch of people randomly passing the puck around. The game is about strategy, and on certain games, its about protecting the people on their team, their family. When you are watching a game on TV, or even when you are there, you don't usually get to hear what the players are saying, and it all looks random, but when you get close enough, you know its not. You hear the sounds and calls of the players on the ice, the shouts of the coach, and when you hear all of this, it looks more like a game of strategy than randomness. College hockey plays for a lot more than just the sport. They play for their school. For their friends. The majority of the hockey i watch is actually college, and even though there isn't as much action, there is more heart. They clearly don't play for money, so they play to win for their school, and to be with their friends. That's not to say that professionals don't have heart, because they do. Take the game I'm watching right now for instance. I'm watching the Boston, Buffalo game, and there is much more than passing a puck going on. If you didn't know this already, Milan Lucic of the Bruins had hit into the goalie the last time they played each other when the goalie was out of the crease, and he is still unable to play. So the second Lucic got on the ice, a player from Buffalo went up to him and started a fight because he had hurt his team mate. Then the rest of the Bruins got into a different fight later due to the way the other team was treating him. In a way, they are all acting like family, defending one another no matter what. Wow. I just re read this, and it sounds kind of sappy. Hahaha So do you like hockey? Clearly, i love hockey, but if you don't, don't be afraid comment!
Wowowow this was a loooooong post, so i guess that makes up for me not writing!!
The biggest wish ever 11:11 on 11/11/11!! Did anyone see it? It slept through the am one, but i got the pm one! But i forgot to make a wish.... That stinks. We didn't even have school, so i didn't get to write 11/11/11 on my papers either, but oh well! Did anyone make a wish? Or take a picture? I took the picture, but not the wish :/ So I know its kind of a short, pointless post, but its all i could think of!
So i decided to do the really cool rainbow cheetah designs first, and they didn't tell me how to do them, so i guessed. They didn't really turn out they way they were so post to. They ended up looking like dots, but they were pretty cool. So here is how i did them....
Step 1: Get all the colors of the rainbow Step 2: Paint your nails white, and let dry Step 3: Starting at the base of your nail, with either pink or red, put dots of polish in a line. Step 4: Continue this with the next color, going up our nail with each new color. Step 5: Once dry, put on a top coat....and then your done!!

Happy Halloween Everyone!!! Who went trick or treating!?!? Of course my and my friends went, and one of them dressed up like an angry bird. Haha. I ended up going as a hockey player, but i looked more like a football player. I also saw some guy fly down a street full of kids, come literally two feet from killing them, yell at the to get out of the street and go home, then speed down the road through a stop sign. I was really crazy. So tell me about your night! What were you? Did you even go out or did you pass out candy? Tell me tell me tell me!! Hahaha
I'm being Ke$ha for Halloween! Well not or actual Halloween, but for a Halloween party today! I'm crimping my hair, and wearing all there clothes that don't match, wearing eye liner, and lots and lots of glitter. Haha So do you people like Ke$ha?? When i posted the blog about nails, who saw it? Well if you did, then i want to tell you that they nail ideas that i showed DO work. I would know because i tryed them. So i wanted to make another post about more nail ideas, so i looked up cool nail ideas. Then i realized that websites lie. The way they tell you to do your nails doesn't always work. So i found some really cool nail designs, and I'm going to try them first, and I'll tell you if they worked of not. I'll show the picture of what it was sopost to look like, and what it ended up looking like.
Ohhhh myyyyy goshhhh. I could go on about them almost as long as i could for Cobra Starship. If you haven't noticed by now, I'm obsessed with music. Who's heard of All Time low? I looove them. They don't really have many new songs though, and they toured in my state and i MISSED them :( But anyway, i think their music is awesome. I'm really into alternative right now. Some of my favorite singers are Cobra Starship, All Time low, Metro Station, and The White Tie Affair. I actually found some of these artists and my favorite songs from Pandora. Have you ever been on Pandora? Its really awesome, they play songs based on the song or artist you type in. So I typed in Cobra Starship, and it plays songs by White Tie Affair, All Time Low, 3oh!3, and obviously Cobra Starship. So whats you favorite type of music? Who are your favorite artists? Everyone thinks little kids are cute, but do you really like them? Like do you think they are obnoxious, so really sweet? I like little kids, but i found out that watching them when the parents are not around is alot easier than when they are there. We had a family party tonight, and my cousins two kids where there. So my cousin wanted to eat, so i took the kids upstairs because they wanted to play in my room. It was really easy to entertain them. The one kept looking at my lamp going ohhhhhhh and the other brushed my hair, and put on glasses and danced saying she was a movie star. It was really funny to watch. So what do you think? Are little kids cute but annoying? Or cute and sweet?

I think his music is awesome, and from what I see, I think he is a good person is too. He hasn't really ever messed up, except for one time, and for him to admit it, the paparazzi didn't have to chase him down, he told people on his own. This makes me think he actually feels bad when he messes up, and he respects his fans enough to admit what he does and when hes wrong.
My teacher on the other hand, thinks his music is terrible and depressing, therefor she thinks hes a bit emo. She says, and I quote "The song Grenade sounds like a physico verison of a Dr. Seuss book." I think the song is sweet, showing that he really cares about the girl, instead of talking about her like she is an item that he owns. I think is refreshing for a male artist these days to treat girls with respect in their songs.

How many people have ever been apple picking?? If you have, what did you like about it? What didn't you like? And if you havent do you want to? I going apple picking today, and its not my first time going. I think apple picking can be really fun, or extremely boring. It depends how you look at it. If you don't like being outside, or your not in the mood to walk around in the heat. It is fun if you like to be outside, and you like spending time with whoever you are with. Today i think it will be really fun to go, because my family hasn't done something like this in a while, and my favorite type of "picking" is either blueberry or apple. (I hate strawberry picking because all you do is bend down in the hot sun with no shade.) So what do you think? Feel free to comment! I don't bite anything other than apples!

So now onto the topic. Sports. Anyone here like sports? Which ones? Any favorite teams? Do you watch sports or play them? Or both? Personally, i play softball and soccer, even though i don't really like soccer. My favorite sport to play is softball, and i cant stand to watch it. My favorite sport to watch is by far hockey, but i cant play it to save my life. My favorite teams are the Bruins, the Eagles (College team) and the Canucks. But mostly, i watch college hockey and follow the Eagles. My original favorite player from the Eagles actually graduated and went on to play for the Bruins, and is currently on the Canucks (Andrew Alberts) What about you? Are you big on sports or not? So i saw the lion king 3D and it was AWESOME! Me and my friendcriedduring the part when Simbas father dies. It was really cool though, because it felt like you where in the movie. Who saw it? I feel that its amazing and its one of my favorite Disney movies ( After Aladdin and Tarzan) I think the 3D version will be amazing, and I'm going to see it today, so i will post a part 2 of this after. First off, i want to say YAY I HAVE 5 VIEWS! Thank you to those 5 people! Now on to the topic, nails. Do you like to paint them a lot or do you think its a pain? I love to paint my nails, not as much as my sister, but its fun. The actual painting and erasing isn't so much fun, but i love how cool they look after. If you are one of the people who likes to paint their nails, i have some cool ideas for you.
Marbleizing your nails: Step 1 ~ Paint you nails a light color (i suggest white) Step 2 ~ Wait for the them to dry Step 3 ~ Get a cup of water ( I suggest paper) Step 4 ~ Pick a few colors that you like, and put a few dots of the nail polish on the top of the water Step 5 ~ Get a tooth pick and swirl the nail polish until you like how it looks Step 5 ~ Dip your fingers in the swirl and pull them out of the water (You may have to put more polish on the water again to marbleize all of your nails Finished product:
Newspaper Nails:
Step 1 ~ Paint nails a light color (Like very light pink or white)
Step 2 ~ Wait for them to dry
Step 3 ~ Cut out 10 squares of newspaper words
Step 4 ~ Dip your fingers in rubbing alcohol
Step 5 ~ Quickly press the newspaper face down on your nails
Step 6 ~ Press down for about 10 seconds
Step 7 ~ Pull off newspaper
Step 8 ~ Apply the clear coat
